Collage of Dreams

Well another week has passed by so quickly and I have failed to take the time to check in here.
I have been busily working on things for my Etsy shop and another beaded doll.
I am having an incredible time with my artwork these days. So much so, that I would rather be creating than checking in here. I have begun my first canvas collage, due to a challenge issued by a yahoo group I am on. I am anxious and nervous to see how it comes out.
I have been working on my little friendship dolls. I am so smitten by them, they are really so cute and versatile in my opinion. However, I have not had any buyers as of yet.
If you care to see them, you can check my Etsy shop. I will be working on an Easter collection.
They would be darling tucked inside of Easter Baskets.
I will share a couple here, but I have all kinds of patterns and hair combinations. If you like them, but have a special request, let me know, I would be very happy to create a special set for you.
Or as I mention on Etsy, perhaps a bunch in your school colors?
Our school colors are orange and black and I did one in that combination. I haven't even shared her on Etsy yet, so I will share her here, along with 2 others. Anyone want to offer me their opinion on this cute little doll? I would love to hear what you have to say.
I think they are perfect for putting into a basket with some rag balls or other decorative items.
Perfect gift toppers, perfect friendship gifts... Read more and see more on Etsy.

Sunday already

I have my ATC club today and look forward to that. I created a few new ATC's this weekend.
Some are for my on-line group challenge, and some for my home club.
I also bought a few sequins for my mermaid and turns out, I perhaps had what I need here at home ; ) Also got some clay cutters, I am happy about that, anxious to try some faces from rubber stamps.
Likely no time to play with that stuff today, because I will be playing with my ATC club.
I have busily been adding things to my Etsy Store, that is very fun.
Here are a few of the cards I made.

KISS ME Irish Fairy

I have been a bit under the weather the last week or so. Have had a sinus infection I think.
I have also been setting up an on-line store at Etsy.com. It is fun and totally addicting.
I have sold 2 little fairies there already.

I made an fun one last night in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, but it is generic enough to be used through, out the year.
Also could be a fun gift box topper, or even just a little hint to your sweetie. Might make the beginnings of a romance filled evening ; )
If you like her and would want one, feel free to speak up.
I am thinking it is a lot of work to keep up with all the marketing and everything ; )
I hope not to let my blog suffer, because I really like posting here.
I will try to be better.

Sweetheart Fairy

I made my first Etsy sale last night. I am so tickled.
No sooner did I finish loading the item and I got a message saying she was sold! Incredible!
That was just too much fun. Now I have the bug, to create, create, create.
Also having fun watching my items for sale on eBay.

Anyway, I wanted to show a picture of the little fairy I sold on Etsy.

Dolls, Dolls, Dolls

Well 3 more dolls done today.
I like these cute little hippie, wild like dolls!
They are 9 1/2 inches as are most of the dolls I am making. That seems to be a comfortable size for me. I am really enjoying this.
I worked on trying to get a website today, but ran into a question I am waiting for an answer.
Also trying to get an etsy shop going.
I am plowing right in.

Not much paper artwork going on these days, but that will just be temporary I am sure.

Here are my new forms. Remember if anyone is interested I am selling them, just ask!

Doll Forms

Well I have had a busy weekend of making doll forms. I plan to offer them for sale on Ebay.
I have seen some selling on the internet that are smaller and of coarse (in my opinion) not near as nice as the ones I am offering. so hopefully others will see the same.

I am going to post a few I will list here, and if you are interested in a particular form but perhaps other fabric choices, you can make a special request ; )

Also I went to a beading class on Peyote stitch and that was fun. I now will be able to utilize that in beading around faces.

So all in all a busy weekend.

Here are the new forms.

More Rebellious

Well I got right up this morning and took some close-ups of Rebellious.

If there is anyone out there that might be interested in purchasing her, please contact me!

She's Rebellious for Sure!

Well I have finished her! She is perfect in all her glory! I think she has become ME ; ) or what I would like to be.

She has thick wonderful beaded hair, something I don't. She is alive with movement and personality. The little charm hanging in the front on the white chain, says "live".
She has a birthmark on her back with fibers attached to it. This is representative of the birthmark I had removed that was referred to as a "large hairy Nevis" by the doctors.
She is somewhat Zetti in style. I love polka dots and paisley's, She has both. I love red and she is most definitely red. I have red hair, not blue ; )
She was so much fun to make, now lets see if I can sell her!
I took 2 pictures of her and wanted some close ups, but my camera battery died. You can not even see that her whole body is 100 % beads, there is not a lick of fabric showing.
I will get some closeups tomorrow. I was anxious to show her off, so her she is.

A Mermaiding we will go...

Well I can't believe I have not posted for so long. I hope to be better about this, but with the the beaded art dolls, I don't have near as much art to show off. Unless of coarse anyone wants day by day pictures. I think not!
My red Doll Rebellious will be done tonight if I can get some more beads before the bead store closes today! I am sooooo happy with her outcome. She is truly grand and REBELLIOUS!

I joined a beaded art doll group and they are having a mermaid challenge. Well I have jumped in full force and have decided that I like making doll forms! Am planning to sell forms if I can get any buyers.
I have sewn up several forms already and actually had a very hard time choosing which I will use for my challenge doll. The mermaid forms without arms, can acquire arms of fabric, polymer, or ceramic if you are not keen on forms with no arms.
Next I will be making some fun faces that I hope to offer for sale also. Stay tuned for those.

I will share a picture of 4 of the forms here and if anyone is interested in purchasing a form feel free to contact me. I will be doing some hand dyed goddess forms in the near future, as well.
